Hey so I have been going through my dads old photos on his Himalayan expeditions and found a few of him in the peaks and on Ben etc

I have also found these 2 and cant work out the crag, if you look closely you can see where the pitches have been split in pen, not sure if this was a first assent or what

any ideas where it is? assuming its in the UK

That's Ravens Tor in Dovedale. The marking looks like Left Hand Route put up by John Sumner and Brian Knox in 1950 as an aided route. Jack Street and Geoff Birtles free climbed it in 1967.

ohhh brill cheers mate he died when I was a kid and Ive lost all his old guide books so have no idea what grade he climbed lol

By the way that crag is in the Peak, not the peaks.
Actually you won't find a guidebook to the peaks, though there are many for The Peak.
