I'm off to Llanberis in a couple of week for a weekend walking and wild camping, any idea of where the best place would be to leave the van ? I don't mind if i have to pay but i don't really want to dump it on the street outside some ones house.

You could park it down at the lagoons near surflines but it could get broken into as it's pretty dark down there. Another option is asking at the Heights pub if you can leave it there with the proviso you come back to have a meal or a few drinks after?

Far end of the high street (ie near pizza & pint, rather than snowdon end). should be fine, plenty of space and there are not many houses there to upset people.

In reply to broady: there's a car park in Nant Peris next to the Vaynol and the Mountain rescue hut which is very visible and pretty secure.

Depends on where you're headed but 53.146474,-4.09979 is safe and free although it's not in but above Llanberis.
