/ lakes winter conditions
Update to that thread- I did go to the lakes, there was a little snow left, got a gully on bowfell done; but that was Friday, and its been much warmer since then. Can't imagine there's much left now but steep slush,
Can't believe people are still talking winter climbing in the Lakes, had my shorts and t-shirt on yesterday in Kendal and Saturday was winter climbing on the Ben probably the only place worth attempting to winter climb at the moment.
Scotland's a long way and not cheap to get to so some of us cling onto what chance there might be in the Lakes.
I did Sharp Edge last Wednesday with a mate. Granted it was only clinging onto winter but was still a good day out.
