The regular Peregrine watch-point has been re-established at Malham Cove from this week onwards and reports from volunteers suggest that the birds may be preparing to nest on the original ledge near the Carnage belay on the right-hand side of the Cove. Until this is confirmed climbers are asked to avoid all routes on Terrace Wall and trad routes that encroach onto the Carnage headwall to the left of Scorpio. The bolted sport routes on the right side of upper central wall should be unaffected.
I will confirm as soon the final nest site is definitely chosen.
