Governments will absolutely love this. It'll be a good reason to introduce a wide range of ' taxes on things they claim to contribute towards climate change, and like most of the measures introduced so far won't make a bit of difference - other than raise money!.

They systematically misinterpret the science or just lie. In any other field they'd just be ignored like flat earthers or intelligent design loons.

Course they do. Especially when those taxes are then invested in the private companies they or their friends and family happen to be directors of.
