UKC

This is for point and shoot compact camera shots, uploaded 'as is' into your UKC gallery. from 37 pics I've got 4 x 5 star pictures giving me 10.8%. Dunno if that's good, bad or average? what is yours for comparison? Do you just upload the very best shots or any old rubbish <like me!>

45.5% of the shots which meet your criteria. I don't upload much though, and only pretty stuff

Ive had some shots from a very old point and shoot published full page in Climb magazine a couple of years back.

If you only take shots in winter ie. white stuff, you should be able to get mostly 5's even if they're crap .....

I only have two 5s in total and I don't know if I can claim that they are from p&s compacts (both are from the legendary Cybershot F717 which was a high-end prosumer camera in its day but which I bought for £55 long after its technology had been superseded).

I think that makes 20% as that is 2 out of 10 taken with various compacts (not including the sheep photo which is not scoreable)

84 photos, 6 are 5* and 30 are 4*. (5% and 25% respectively). There's a lot of crap ones in my gallery tho, crag shots etc.

Finding it less worthwhile uploading to UKC these days cos it takes ages compared to a simple link to a whole set on Facebook.

Seems a LOT easier to get 4* than it is to get 5*!!!

Depends if most of the shots are bouldering as there seems to be some folk that like going through giving everything 1.

My best ever (based on the UKC voting system) was held at arms length, shot totally blind out of the belay cave on Smiths Route. Made it to number 2!
