Probably been asked before but any advice on flying to Europe with a pad? Thinking of heading to Deutschland this summer and just weighing up whether to fly or drive...

I have flown a few times. Ryanair, easyjet... Just wrap up the pad in a tarp and slackline and stick everything else in as cabin luggage! Simple

Just come back from Font, took two pads folded in each other on British Airways flight heathrow to paris, with no problem. It was larger than their allowed luggage limit, the only comment made was about how light the bag was. Had to pick it up from oversize baggage. Just a few funny looks in the airport. Would do it again.
