ring ouzels - bamford edge

I'm sure folks know about ring ouzels nesting on the usual parts of Stanage, just thought I'd post up that we spotted a male poking around the Porthole Buttress on Bamford Edge today.
There didn't seem to be a specific nest site, if anything a robin nesting there already seemed keen to chase it off! but it was definitely investigating the crag so anyone heading up that way should keep an eye out and give them a wide berth if they do nest.

There is also a nest around Stanage End, Gameo/Tupperware area. We bailed from doing a route there on Tuesday as they were pretty noisy. We spotted the nest as we were about to start climbing, so moved to Wedgewood area instead.
