One for the techy types...I've a new used iMac, that comes with 4. But I've aquired CS5. Must I completely uninstall 4 before I load 5, or is it okay to load up 5, then decide later. Am I asking for conflict trouble? (Running Maverick O.S)
(I've no disks)
Any advice appreciated!
Thanks.

Hi,

You can run different versions of PS or other Adobe software on the same machine. I run thw whole CS5 suite on this mac and I have a couple of CS6 items too.

Cheers,

Jack

Blimey! Im obviously being too cautious, having googled Mac sites last night, which warned of problems!
Thanks though!

I've used two different iterations before with no memorable issues on iMacs and MacBooks, they all load separate to each other.

Simon
I was concerned that the desktop would get a bit 'confused'.. Does it sort itself out?

No, it makes no difference what so ever what Mac you are running. The different software versions are different pieces of software, so it's like saying does running Google Chrome interfere with running Skype.

No issues in my experience on 2 different Macs and 1 PC.

Cheers.
