I'm heading to Scotland for the bank holiday weekend and will be driving up from north wales.
My mate is coming from barrow In Furness so one of us will have to leave a car somewhere, I'm willing to pay sensible money but would prefer not to pay at all.
Do any safe places come to mind? Or would any of you guys en route want to make some money out of having a car on your drive for the weekend?
Anywhere in shap come to mind?

Meet up at Crooklands 24 hour garage. 1000 metres from J36 M6.

Ask nicely if you can leave it there.

If they say no, park on the main road in perhaps the first village just North on the way to Kendal.

I once left a car outside a Police station for the Bank Hol weekend after letting them know.
