Sir Roger Bannister who, after breaking the four minute mile barrier in 1954, became a neurologist is suffering from Parkinsons Disease.

Damn shame. I still cant watch his four minute mile film without shouting "come on" at the tele. Even though I know he did it.

Heard him on Radio 4 a couple of weeks ago, possibly 'Midweek', still seemed pretty together.
