whats the ethics on Cleaning it if its still green?

It's fine to clean if it's green. Never use a wire brush. I have found from experience that a yard brush works quite well if it has stiff bristles.

I Shouldnt think its had much Traffic recently, will Take yard Broom in case its still green.
