/ Midges are Out!
Be warned! I was munched on Saturday near Glasgow, the mild winter may mean an early start this year.
Shorts away, long sleeves on and put your midge net in the top of your bag...
Maybe the arrival of my Swifts and the first swarms of midges is no coincidence.
There were none in Skye two weeks ago but i could hear them sharpening their teeth.
Bit chicken and egg? What came first, the midge or the swift? If we breed swifts can we use them to cull midges?
