I actually did watch it for the first time ever, because I thought we had a good song and would do well. I was also interested in how the Ukraine / Russia issue would pan out. Busty Polish maidens were a bonus...

I think the theory goes that the busty milk maids were using their sex appeal to gain votes, while the man dressed as a woman with a beard was challenging conventional gender norms and views on what it means to be 'normal'.
