I am off to the Dolomites for a month in the summer (july /august). I am wondering if anyone can recommend any campsites near Cinque Torri that aren't too expensive but liveable for a month.

Stayed here a few years ago - can't remember prices, but it had plenty facilities for a longish stay.

Also camped at another less posh, less well-equipped site a few bends down the road that runs south from the Falzarego Pass. Will try to find its name for you.

Have camped in Cortina, but busy and pricey when we were there, and the town seems to have gone upmarket in recent years.

There aren't many campsites in the area (to protect the hotel trade & keep standards up) & they aren't cheap. I have enjoyed the vibe at Camping Colfosco just outside Corvara. Facilities are fine & there is a crowd of craggers/via ferratists. Great views as well.
