Hi folks.
I've had Tower Ridge (Summer) on my to do list ever since I first read about it.
What kind of equipment is advisable? Would a 30m rope, a couple of slings and some nuts cover it?

Thanks for any help offered.
Regards,
Mike.

Yes.

A medium hex (or two, depending what sizes your nuts go up to) might be useful but a handful of wires should be more than sufficient gear for most people.

Brilliant, thanks for the reply. Just need to convince my climbing buddy to come with now.

Yea, if its snow free a 30m single will do you fine. You may only want to use it on the first bit out of the starting gully and the onwards from the eastern traverse. 3 x 120 slings with screws, couple of big wires/hexes as engineer said is spot on. If you tuck in behind a guide you'll not get lost and keep good time too. Start early, it takes 2.5 hours to get to the foot of the starting gully.

I'd also Include a useful nine Hex, and half a dozen slings, couple of big ones for spike belays/runners.
