Not too fussed about which crag as long as it's single pitch & suitable to take a couple of teenagers out for a first day on rock so not High Tor.

It would have been really nice if we could have a fire, or at least a fire in our BBQ so we could sit around in the evening and talk about One Direction or whatever it is teenagers talk about.

There's one a couple of miles from harborough, but if you're driving it's not far from lots of places.

Pub (might be Red Lion; cannot remember) with camping field ( loos etc) in Winster just west of Matlock. Several bits of limestone in the environs, & Black Rocks at Cromford for grit. Bigger limestone at Willersley (access from right hand side to top if you need to top rope). Harborough Rocks probably best, tho maybe not terrifying enough. Combine it with bike ride from Middleton Top (bike hire available) on High Peak Trail; passes right past Harborough. Try also uk campsites website- you used to be able to select sites with fires from menu/requirements. Good luck. Have fun. Nik
