Hi all,

Planning on heading up Castle Ridge tomorrow, haven't been on the Ben in forever. Further south in Glen Coe,everything is back to bare rock right now - should I be expecting the same on Castle?

Jamie B will shortly be along to say that this is irrelevant as Easter was last month. However, at Easter, Castle Ridge was completely clear of snow, and the occasional snow that has fallen since then has quickly melted.

Castle has no snow.
For those interested the last section to the plateau on Tower Ridge has some steep snow that is hard to avoid.
You can get a bit of an impression here from 9 days ago. The fresh snow from then melted after a day or so. http://alanhalewood.blogspot.co.uk/search?updated-max=2014-05-09T20:24:00%2...

Excellent, cheers - that's exactly what I was looking to hear as my partner is cramponless, so needed nice bare rock.
