Cement plaque near Mark Atkinson's monument
On the rock perhaps 20m from Mark Atkinson's monument on Caudale Moor (Stony Cove Pike) in the Eastern Fells a stone plaque has been cemented on. The plaque mentions a sss club or perhaps the 555 club and has 6 names listed under the date 2002.
Why is this plaque there? Does anyone know anything about it?
