Dear All
Thought that i'd remind you ...

On Monday 26th November Andy Cave will be talking about "The Himalaya and beyond" - technical new routes climbed in the Himalaya, Alaska and Norway. He is one of Britain's most prominent and accomplished mountaineers with ascents such as 'Diedre of the Sorrows' (VIII, 8) on Lochnagar and the first free ascent of 'Divine Providence' (ED5?!) on Mont Blanc to name but two.

The lecture starts at 8pm at George square lecture theatre, Edinburgh. Tickets £4 available on the door, or in advance from Tisos (Rose street and Commercial street, Edinburgh). For more information see http://www.ed.ac.uk/~eumc

Other public lectures put on by Edinburgh University Mountaineering Club will include Alan Mullin talking about Scottish winter climbing and Andy Kirkpatrick talking about all things funny and narly. Dates to be anounced.

It will be awesome!
