I travel along the A57 Worksop Rd and have seen people with bouldering mats emerging from a wood near to Lindrick Golf Club.
Didnt even know there was a bouldering venue there, would be a great stop off on my commute.
Could anyone enlighten me?
Cheers

Definitely sounds like Anston Stones. Brilliant and tough venue.

Thanks to you both, will give it a try, forecast is not brilliant, do you know if it stays dry or seeps?

Flippin eck ! That's where my wife's from-run through there but never noticed any bouldering. This could put a different complexion on trips down there : )

It's hidden behind the railway line so if you're on the main paths you won't see it. Some parts seep, some don't but your main problem is humidity, it is very soft rock so the slightest bit of humidity and it is like soap and can damage very easily.

I think the access arrangements are pretty new so worth being careful.
