Leave mine at room temperature until the ice cream softens. I then love "cracking" off the chocolate coating in as big a piece as I can. When that's ALL gone I guzzle the ice cream. Heaven :oP

I then lick the stick clean.

Messily. I've never succeeded in eating a whole one without bits of chocolate flaking off. It's an acquired art. I know an 84 year old guy who can eat one cleanly every time.
