Thought people would want to know if they're heading to North Wales for weekend climbing, Padarn Bus has gone bump this morning (the company that runs the Sherpa service).
A chunk of North Wales is now without a bus service.

That's not good. Does that mean the S97 is the only Sherpa now running (Express Motors do that one)?

The BMC has this morning been in contact with Gwynedd Council (who issue the contracts for the Sherpa bus service) and say they will be making a definitive statement later today. However they also stated that the Sherpa bus service will continue "pretty much as normal" and they will be issuing a new contract to a new provider later today. Apart from some logo issues and possibly some minor timetable issues they state that the change to a new provider should be seamless.
