Yesterday we went to do Great Wall at Craigiau Cigfran. The leader (not me) found that top couple of bolt hangers (where it lies back so not visible from below) were missing and another was really loose (perhaps attempted removal failed because of damaged bolt thread?). There were already a couple of bale out crabs at the level of the last decent bolt (one in Great Wall and one across in the Direct) so it must have happened already to others.
Was there a problem with these bolts or is it the re-emergence of the phantom N Wales hanger thief? We couldn't see if the lower off was affected (late in the day and too lazy to walk round and check I'm afraid).
