My daughter has 'found' a baby bird. She says it's mum abandoned it. It is now in my shed.
It is a tit or similar size. I put it on the she roof and it is singing its head off and flapping wings but not flying.

what bulls crack said. You may need to be prepared for tears though, it's probably not going to get found by mum. I do know people who have raised chicks like this with meal worms and eye droppers, but I wouldn't recommend it
