Can anyone give me a local report on the forecast around here please?
Is tomorrow a good day for the Fisherfield six. MWIS is very promising especially for Saturday?

Very damp and misty today with cloud base only a couple of hundred metres. starting cloudy but dry tomorrow - improving later - but not much wind - hence many midges. Better forecast for Saturday with a much stronger breeze. Today's rain was not heavy so underfoot conditions should be ok following a substantially dry week in the north west.

Thanks Barrisdale. I'm in aviemore now. I'm reasoning that the crossing of the Strath an Sealga nr Shenavall may be risky given last nights rain, and am toying with the Fannaichs instead.?

There was no rain in Gairloch area last night and it has been dry and sunny today from mid afternoon. I don't think the Abhainn Strath na Sealga will pose any problems. Water levels are generally quite low in the north west.
