Word of warning: friend was at Moy the other day, noticed tick bite the next and today has a bullseye. He's off to get seen.

I had Lymes 4 years ago and my doctor insisted I didn't. He eventually agreed to test me but the results came back negative. Be aware, Lymes gives a lot of false negatives. I changed doctors and was re-tested a further two times before it came back positive.

If you really do suspect this is Lymes and you get a negative result, take my advice and keep pushing to be re-tested.

I get the impression they are a bit more clued up now.

Pretty clear bullseye around a bite to me. He went to A & E and got antibiotics, what his follow up is I don't know.

Thats good and yep, lots of follow ups as they have to make sure its left the system.
