Hello,
I am heading to the Isle of Skye this weekend for some walking but am hoping to get in a quick rock climb. Any recommendations for easy to get to, single pitch pitch routes up to E1?
Cheers
Sam

Jamie Jampot http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/c.php?i=53382 20 mins walk.

Or go to Neist Point where there are hundreds of climbs within 5-15 minutes of the road end.

But there's even better throughout the Cuillin if you don't mind a couple of hours walking/scrambling through the UK's finest mountains.

grey panther, kilt rock e1
hurricane hideaway, neist e1

your starter ..... I'm sure that the masses will have more and better...

Can you get down to the base of Kilt Rock by walking/scrambling or is an abseil de rigueur?

Some routes you can descend to but Grey Panther etc require an abseil.
In reply to Samuel Wainwright: If you are keeping towards the east of the Isle and/or walking on Blà Bheinn (Blaven) then Schoolhouse Buttress at Elgol springs to mind - 2 minute walk in, great situation, stunning view of the Cuillin, several fairly decent routes - http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crag.php?id=1347

Was at Neist Point just over a week ago. Great rough dolerite. Went to the Financial Sector - 10-15 mins from car park. Routes about 30-35m. Take an ab rope for quick descent from stakes down approach gully. Routes I would recommend are Midas Touch, Insider Dealing, Security Risk and Venture Capital - all 3 stars and fair at the grade. Take a midge net etc just in case the breeze drops. All in all a great place.
