I'm going up to the Lakes to climb on Sunday and just wondering how wet or dry things are at the moment. I know its been warm but with showers and I'm afraid I haven't been keeping an eye on things so don't know the general state of things.

Ideally I'd like to climb on Scafell, in particular The Pinnacle,(the quickest drying bit?) but Pikes Crag and Esk Buttress are other possibilities.
Thanks.

Was in Upper Eskdale the other night - Esk Buttress was mainly dry, but was covered in clag all day so never got to do any routes. I would expect the higher, north facing crags to damp.

Nobody else got anything to report?

Climbed on esk buttress yesterday. Not as dry as you'd have hoped, still plenty of seepage. East buttress looked to be soaking - loads of big wet streaks.

Thanks, went to Grey Crag, Buttermere in the end which was bone dry. Perhaps surprisingly, a few parties climbed Eagle Front and reported it to be clean and dry.
