All the Wainwrights in 7 days running. The live tracker is http://steveb.opentracking.co.uk/ and updates every 90 seconds.

Best of luck Steve

Hey Steve,

Thanks for posting the reminder. I'd forgotten when he was attempting it. Why aren't you a support runner?

Cheers,

James.

Hey James - Because I'm a dullard and a slow coach. My mate Chris is doing a stretch or two (mainly because he wanted to do Great Cockup!)

Good luck to Steve, my knees are aching just reading the blog.

Steve - I think that might be the first self-deprecation I've ever read on a UKC forum. It's most refreshing. Congratulations!

Is he still going? Rydal at the moment.

Had a quick look at the blog, how's he managing on so little sleep?

Just want to bump this back to the top, so Steve raises as much money as possible!

Its an awesome challenge for great causes - two Multiple Scerosis charities.

He is smashing it today, due in Kentmere at 1607, I reckon he might be there by 1430 looking at the tracker.

In reply to ablackett:

He has made up about an hour on his schedule today, was a bit behind this morning and has just got to dockray 15 minutes early, looks like he is moving well, did the 6.5km down from Clough Head in under an hour. Mind blowing stuff.

Seriously impressive. Seems like he's getting nice weather for it as well.

Nice, but it's been bloody warm. Incredibly impressive stuff.

Just 24 tops to go now!

If anyone wants to join him on the last bit then they are more than welcome, see post 105 at http://forum.fellrunner.org.uk/showthread.php?20941-All-t-Wainwrights-attem...

In reply to Bob:

Steve finished at around 10pm meaning he took

6 days 13 hours

to do all the Wainwright tops. Well done that man!

In reply to Bob:
Amazing effort!!! Well done indeed.
I've been tracking him all week and he seemed to be really suffering earlier today. Hope he has a quick recovery.

(Fell runners are slightly mad in my book! )

I'm astounded at the lack of interest shown by UKC on this!

Me too. So I'll register interest.

Definitely amazing.

Trashed feet seem to have been a limiting factor for Steve just as it was for Joss. Clearly nothing achieved in 27 years of shoe development.

Go on, you'll spend that on your next coffee, or getting halfway to the crag in fuel
