Was wondering if anyone has had any experience of wild camping near crags in Majorca, and if there are any recommendations as to where would be best.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I did the GR221 a couple of years ago which follows the Tramontana mountains across the north of the island. Camped wild several nights without issue though all the guide books say its prohibited. Our policy was a bit like in the Alps, tent up as dusk and down at dawn with no trace left.

There are plenty of places away from houses.

Sa Gubia is very convoluted and has lots of places to wild camp, but my favourite was Cala Magraner, a hidden cove, lovely pebble bar good climbing and something for everyone, just a twenty minute hike along a dry river bed from the road...have fun!!
