VO2 Max

I'm taking part in a clinical study for a sports science researcher. part of the study involves me doing a VO2 max test. Has anyone done one before? am I going to throw up or pass out? I'm quite excited but apprehensive in equal measure!

The worst bit is the nose clamp and mask.
