when i try to start recording a ride a window pops up saying:

'background app refresh disabled..
Strava cannot track your ride while background processes are disabled'

what does this mean exactly and how do i enable background app refreshing??

thanks but i can only see the original post and not the 2 replies for some reason, so all i can tell is that someone had the same problem and that there were 2 replies to the post

It means that it can run in the background whilst you have your phone locked or using another app for instance. Strava requires it to be turned on.

Settings > general > background app refresh > strava

This should get you sorted.
