I was in Ogwen last week and called in to check out the new visitors centre, nice new building etc, and noticed that there was a pay and display car park , a twenty minute free park and a few other spaces , is there still free parking space for a few cars? It was hard to tell if the area I parked in was free or not.

The lay-bys outside are free, I've never had a problem parking there!

Take care parking on the edge of the road on the east-bound side. Like many, I have done so... until I got a parking ticket for parking on the pavement!

There are half a dozen spaces opposite the visitor centre, and not in the main car park, that are free.
Well there are no signs and I've never paid.

there are plenty of free ones half a mile away beside the lake if the others are full
