In reply to Gav Parker:
You really can't go wrong anywhere on the ridge although the Inn Pinn (via the round of Core Lagan, especially the An Stac ridge) is a must if you haven't done it before, the Dubhs Ridge scores highly for beauty of setting and line, and Pinnacle Ridge on Sgurr na Gillean scores for ease of access and sustained scrambling.
What your choice will be driven by though is the conditions: in a typical souwesterly, the Northern Peaks can escape the mist, where the rest of the range sulks in sombre cloud. In a northerly air flow the trend reverses, although the northern air is often drier. In the wet, the gabbro is good for scrambling, but the basalt which intrudes all along the ridge turns to slippery soap - scary!!
Buy Skye Scrambles and heed the author's advice about rock type and you'll be fine. Many of the routes are fine in the wet.
