Any issue with clamping the bracket for a cantilevered child seat to the seat tube on titanium frame like?
I know carbon's a no no but I assume Ti will be no problem?

shouldn't be, but it depends how fat your kid is

The whole idea of the weight of a kid on a cantilever off the seat tube doesn't fill me with confidence. Pretty save to assume if it's Ti then it's a bike designed to be light rather than bomb proof.

Having seen sheared cantilever pannier brackets I say it's a very bad plan to sit a kid on one.

I know what you mean - the bracket appears to be solely made from ABS plastic as well, with no metal insert. However it is CE certified?!

I'm planning on mainly using on an ally framed mountain bike but thought there might be times when I might want to put it on my road bike.
