Some year ago I had a really bad experience with the BMC insurance and I'm trying to find an alternative at a similar price.
I have looked at Snowcard and they seem expensive but I have found a company called Protectivity Insurance/Sportscover Direct Limited.
Does anybody know anything about them and can you recommend anyone else?

In reply to Pete Potter:

I usually use Insure and Go for travel insurance and Austrian Alpine Club membership for climbing rescue insurance. Their website is http://www.aacuk.org.uk/.

In reply to Pete Potter:

Columbus does activity insurance, so does STA travel, both cheaper than BMC. Just check if they provide search and rescue, I know Columbus doesn't. Obviously will depend where you're going as to whether you'll need this as well or not.

Columbus was good but last time I tried to renew my policy they said that they no longer covered rock climbing
