Just home from a great day on Gimmer, marred only by finding 3, yes THREE different human turds all ON the trail at the bottom of the crag, one even in an obvious flat gearing up spot.

PLEASE people, I know it is steep, but PLEASE move a little off trail to take a dump. And putting a rock or two over it just doesnt cut it, one of them, someone had obviously trodden on the rock, smeared and trodden in it and then stepped it along the path.

Sorry to rant, but it spoilt an otherwise great day.

However, don't forget to bin used ones at the end of the day. Otherwise, everything in your pack will stink of...

maybe climbing routes well within ones capability will lessen the turd problem too

No excuse, surely a person knows if they are going to need a dump BEFORE they get to the bottom of the cliff.

No excuse for not dropping it off at the National Trust before starting the walk in really.
