Lately every time I post a link I have trouble if I try edit the post (if i've made a spelling error etc) where I get an error telling me the link is getting a 404 error, but the link is valid and works in the original post pre editing. I'm no touching the link when I edit, and the only way around this seems to be delete the link, then edit the post again and post the same link back in... then it works

Seems to be a common bug, but there's no section of the bulletin board for bugs to be reported ..

Its been like that ever since I have been a member.
It seems the only way around it is to delete the post and start again!

It seems when you put a link it automatically gets bold(ened) with some invisible tags. When you edit the post they 'crumble' and only a "/b>" remains at the end which fecks up the url.

You need to delete the URL in the edited post and re-paste the original one for it to work.

Damn annoying.

Put a single blank space after the link.

It doesn't work?

Copying and pasting the whole post once it's edited and posting it as a new post seems to work, which defeats the object a little bit.

No, doesn't work for me unless I remove link, submit edited post, re edit and then paste in the original link and resubmit
