Price: 10
Way back in the far reaches of time my dad used to be an active climber/mountaineer and once attended a talk by Dougal Haston.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dougal_Haston
From this he bought for the pricey sum of 4d a signed print that has hung for as long as I have been alive on my parents Hall/stairs wall. well his hand finally gave out last Saturday after many years on the ice and he arrived very unceremoniously at the bottom of the stairs...

To cut a story short they are decorating and decided he is up for replacement so does anyone want an A2 (approx) signed image of Dougal Haston? Unframed and posted in a tube. Open to offers on price, just to cover postage and dads 4d!

I have a few Doug Scott signed things, and that signature is remarkably similar...

In reply to katherinec85:

It seems quite clearly to be Doug Scott's signature, unless Dougal Haston spelt his name "Doug Scott" :)

In reply to L.A.:

just to be clear here, i am running on my dads info, and he said Dougal Haston, but it was over 40 years ago as Haston died in 1977. This is my dad who walks upstairs and ask my mom what he came up for!

Either way it is Sold to maybe_si.

Is it worth more as a Doug Scott or as a Dougal Haston??? i dont care, i have agreed a price with maybe_si, he is happy as am i!

In reply to Little Brew: Well Doug Scotts still around signing things so what would your guess be as to which is the more valuable signature?
