Can anyone recommend a good campsite in the Annecy area for this summer, needs space for a large tent. Other luxuries not vital (swimming pools etc) and preferably not a huge site. Lake access would be a bonus.

We've stayed here a couple of times, really good atmosphere (Few brits!). Cheaper than the lake, they have bikes you can rent, good free facilities.

Best Annecy site by that I have been to by far is camping le lac bleu.

Stayed there a few times, small pool, literally 20 metres from the lake, paragliding, canoe hire etc next door, quiet site but things to do for kids, hire bikes and cycle round the lake to Annecy.

Loads of big pitches, cheap enough, well you get the picture!
