GR5 St Gingolph to Chamonix
Has anyone done this section in high summer (8th Aug for us.)Is it advisable to book all accommodation in advance or would it be feasible to book a night or two in advance. Aware that serious rain could effect plans, but not sure how busy it might be/how many overnight options available. Have Cicerone guide and there are two of us.
