Can someone please help me get rid of the charms bar every time I slide my finger in from the right on the mouse pad. I have already disabled it when the mouse is moved to the top right corner.

The exact method will depend on what type of touchpad your laptop has but there are instructions for a variety of different options here, just scroll down to find one that resembles something you have on your computer...

Thanks, I'll take a look, those edge swipes are so annoying.

Edit: Had a look and my smart-pad isn't on the list.

Well, having established that the procedure varies between different types of trackpad, you'll have a slightly better chance of finding an answer if you mention what type you actually have!

I did find the right track pad but the wrong driver version. I have found a "hack" to change the registry which given that the laptop is 2 weeks old I'm not willing to change.
