Aiguille Grises Route,Mt Blanc - avoiding the crevasses

I know the normal way is heavily crevassed but is it possible to avoid the slots by sticking to the ridge?

yes, but this is slower and route finding is hard. The glacier is well filled in early season and is ok if there's a track to follow.
