Anyone been to Troy Quarry lately? If so was it busy and/or midge infested? Thinking of taking a friend who is a relative noob for a day at the weekend!

Went on the 25th June. Only one other pair there and not a midge in sight.

Been a couple of times this summer, sociable but far from crowded. Midges ? Well if you pick a wind free day it will be.

Massive invasion of teeny tiny little baby frog all over the ground on walk in and below the crag few weeks ago. Sureal !

We had the frog spectacle a few years back. Some of them were climbing the routes ahead of us and some of them doing it better than me.
