Oh oh - I'm guessing lizzie armistead was another one who meet the Duchess of Cambridge the other week. Doesn't look good.

No Suprise that Vos won - incredible rider.

Is that a cycling euphemism?

Think Lizzie Armistead is doing the Glasgow road race on Sunday.

She won it last year .

Is Vos on another level compared to the British girls?

I think Vos is on another level compared to pretty much everyone.

I watched the last 20k of the race and thought it was brilliant (it's cycling...), I really hope this surge of interest and exposure in women's cycling keeps gaining momentum. Brian Cookson seems to be a force for good here, as he seems to generally be also.

It's a bit telling though that this thread has been up for a day and a half and only 6 replies so far.

I shall be watching in Glasgow on Sunday.

Think I shall go to The top of Montrose St and see some impressive climbing.

Yes. At the risk of ruining the suspense in some races.

A bit telling about the forum more than anything else I think.
The race was great. Twitter and fb went mad during the last few laps. I enjoyed it. Look forward to the race growing over the next few years.

Just have to hope the crash didn't do any damage, but she'd be favourite I'd have thought. I'm trying to think who's eligible who could contest - Archibald maybe?

She is something special. At the worlds cx last year the pace pretty much matched the men's event (conditions had marginally changed, but not that much). I think TT may be the only discipline she hasn't featured very strongly in.
