Anybody know anything about a number of new sport routes on Central Buttress in Water Cum Jolly?

Lots of new bolts on there and quite a few looking to have gone in existing routes. There are also a number of new routes on some of the smaller buttresses back towards the Cornice.

Seems a couple of routes on the left end of the Cornice have been retroed.

Gary G has given the place a spruce up.

There is an access issue in that one of the wardens/water bailiffs is unhappy with climbers crossing the river at Freddy's Weir (just below the crag). So please approach from the cycleway on the old railway.

Perhaps wait until the topo is released before visiting.

Did a couple of cracking 6c's there with the Captain: hard, interesting climbing, superb rock and full length of crag.

Looking forward to going back.

Some of the trad routes have been cleaned and are getting ascents.
