Morning all,

We've got a vauxhall vivaro that we are looking to do a bit of a self convert on, nothing major, probably a side window and some internal shelving, possibly making our own rock n roll bed (the sliding kind, not a Euphemism!) Our current insurance company is telling us this will add a lot to our premium as it counts as modifications. Has anyone else done similar? Who did you use? At the moment we are being quoted around 8-900 - should we just accept this is how much it is?

Try Adrian Flux - they do insurance for modified and hobby vans.

Can't remember how much we are paying, but it's certainly less than your quote. They just like us to inform them and send some photos every time we do some more work on the van.
