Is Berry Head the 'dry in wet weather' DWS equivalent of Stoney Minus 10, or if it's raining does it become an unclimbable slime fest?

Any knowledge could save me a very long and expensive journey.

Cheers

Much of it faces east, so westerlies can't blow rain on to it. Light rain on a westerly is ok. Avoid strong easterlies which kick up a chop.High humidity can make it sweaty to climb. Torquay often stays dry when the regional forecast is for showers. Well worth a punt.

Thanks, the only time I've been previously the down-climb was soaked so it was a non-starter.

Planning on taking an ab rope this time.

Forecast for Saturday is good now, so I'll be heading down to try Magical Mystery Tour.

Is the decent in easy - last time it looked unpleasant but it was soaking wet. How about getting out at the end?

Any other tips welcomed!

The complete and best experience is to enter the Blue Grotto and follow it right through the headland past a 6a+ crux step across at a chasm. If the start of this is minging wet it feels 6b+ and you might prefer to swim the cave entrance to the promontory opposite.
