Adding two Stonesmith holds to the board, 4 kbJack Geldard tests out the new range of holds carved by legendary climber Malcolm Smith.

Did a little bit of Malc's strength rub off? And were the holds any good...?

Can't wait to get on some of these. They look great and made by, as you say a supremely qualified talent, and all round nice guy too. Good work Malc. I'll have to pop up to TCA Glasgow soon.

+1 with Gerald.
Have had some slopers and a range of crimps. They're my fav holds on my homeboard and all my problems/ circuits take at least one these days.
I really like the fact that all holds (including big slopers) can be bolted AND screwed in... makes them really versatile.

In reply to UKC Gear: I sort of presumed the holds would have the friction of polished glass, so you had to grip harder, increasing training value...

TCA in Bristol have had a bunch of these over the past few months, really nice and interestingly shaped holds.
